Kedves Kiscserkesz Szulok!  Dear Cubscout parents!
Penteken (10/28) tartjuk cserkeszeten a Szureti/ Toktunder balunkat.  Megkerjuk hogy mind a kiscserkeszek “bali ruhaban” jojjenek cserkeszetre.
 
This Friday there will be a Harvest/ Pumpkin ball for all the cubscouts.  Please have them dress in their fanciest princess dress/ prince garments.

Nagycserkeszek/scouts:
Penteken este 7-kor talalkozunk a cserkeszhaznal, kimegyunk a Tanyara taborozni. A szulok szombaton este 7 orara jonnek a tanyara tabortuzre.
Friday at 7 in Cserkeszhaz, parents are welcomed on Saturday at 7 in the Tanya.

Kedves Mindenki!

A tavaszi kirándulást Május 6-7-re halasszuk (a tavaszi tabor NEM aprilis 8-10-en lesz) /The date of the spring outing is changed to May 6-7.
Sajnos, újabb szomorú hírrel kapcsolatos program változásról kell tegyünk jelentést. A mai napon kaptátok meg Tábor Pista bácsi gyászjelentését. Abban olvastátok, hogy milyen komoly tagja volt Pista bácsi a clevelandi magyar közösségünknek, de talán van közöttetek olyan, aki nem tudja, hogy…
Tábor Bandi volt 14-es csapatparancsnok
Tábor Szabi volt Regös vezető, 34-es csapatparancsnok, CsBK alelnök és most MI igazgató
Tábor Bea volt MI igazgató és most CsBK elnök
Tábor Fricke Andi most CsBK pénztáros
Eppley Hajnal és Tábor Matyi most Regös vezetők
A többi Tábor gyerekek és unokák mind oszlopos tagjai a 14-es és 34-es csapatoknak. Akik itt laknak a városban, azok annak ellenére, hogy már mind felnőttek, kiveszik részüket a csapatok munkájából. Azok, akik a városon kívül laknak, be-be segítenek táborokon kirándulásokon, amikor tehetik. Sőt, Csilla vezette volna le a programot az idei tavaszi cserkész kiránduláson, ami Április 8-10-ig tartott volna.
Ezért a 14/34-es vezetői kar úgy döntött, hogy elodázzuk a tavaszi kirándulást Május 6-7-re.
 
Tudjuk, hogy ez a datum sem tökéletes, mert ez az Anyáknapi hétvége, de igazán nem volt más választékunk mert tele van a naptárunk rengeteg nagyszerű programmal. Viszont, tekintettel az Édesanyákra, egy nappal rövidebbre vesszük ezt a kirándulást és szombat estével befejeznénk a kirándulást egy közös tábortűzzel, ahol fel szeretnénk köszönteni az Édesanyákat.

Unfortunately, because of the latest sad news, we have to make changes to our plans for the annual spring outing of the zöld nyakkendő scouts. You should have received an email about the passing of Pista Tábor, Sr. in which you could read about what an important part of the Hungarian Community he was, but there may be some of you who do not know that…
 
Bandi Tábor was Troopmaster of Troop #14
Szabi Tábor was a leader of the Scout Folk Ensemble, Troopmaster of Scout Troop #34, the Vice President of AHFS, and is currently the Principal of the Hungarian School
Bea Tábor was the Principal of the Hungarian School and is now the President of AHFS
Andrea Fricke Tábor is the Treasurer of AHFS
Hajnal and Matyi are the Scout Folk Ensemble’s current leaders
 
The rest of Pista bácsi’s children and grandchildren are all members of troops 14 & 34. Those of who live here in Cleveland are all active in some way in the troops‘ lives even though they are all adults. Those who live out of town either help out in the troop that they live near, or help out here at home when they come to visit. If fact, Csilla was to lead the program on the spring outing scheduled for April 8-10.
 
Because of the great involvement of this family is our scouting movement, the leadership of troops 14 and 34 have decided to change the date of the spring outing to May 6-7.
 
We are aware that this weekend is not great either, but have no other real choices, because we are fortunately full of great other activities already on the other weekends. Because it is Mother’s Day weekend, we have decided to make the outing a day shorter and to end it with a campfire with the our scout Mother’s to be celebrated.
 
We will let you know about the details as we get closer to the new date.

The Folk Ensemble is holding a gulyas/langos lunch this Sunday as a fundraiser for their trip to Hungary this summer.
The lunch is at noon at St. Emeric.
Tickets are $12/$7 if you order them by today (Wednesday), and are $18/$15 after today.

Iszom a meleg teamat es irom ezt a cserkesz emailt, amikor kopognak az ajton. Egy hajlektalan (homeless) ferfi volt kint a terhes felesegevel. Azt mondtak, hogy messzirol jottek, es hogy nincs hol aludniuk, beengednem-e oket ejszakara? Na meg mit nem akarnak! Hogy az en hazamba hajlektalant eresszek! Hogy meg itt bent szuljek meg a gyereket! Hat hova gondolnak??! Ha lenne istalom, oda kuldtem volna oket, de mivel nincs, a garazsba nem engedhetem, megsem hagyhatom az autot az utcan ilyen rossz idoben! Elkuldtem oket, keressenek valami barlangot maguknak, mi mar takaritottunk, mert keszulunk a Karacsonyra!
Gondolom mashol is hasonlo unnepvaro hangulat van. Ezuton kivanok mindenkinek sikeres shoppingolast es sok ajandekot! Remelem mar mindenki kidiszitette a hazat villogo lampakkal es orulunk a finom kajakra es jo unnepi bulikra. Szep es lelkiekben gazdag Karacsonyt!
