PERSANYI ANDREW PAUL PERSANYI of Louisville passed away unexpectedly, March 13, 2016 at the age of 74. Born in Budapest, Hungary; Persanyi spent his early childhood in a refugee camp in Künzing, Germany and came to United States with his family and settled in Cleveland, Ohio in 1950. His 46 year career in the hospitality industry spanned all aspects of hospitality food and beverage management and restaurant concept creation. He currently was the Dining Room Supervisor at General Butler State Park.

Persanyi is survived by his wife Carol; brother Bela (Mary) and sister Clarisse (Greg Burnett); children Andrew, Laszlo (Sharon), and Robert (Susan); step children Dexter, Kevin, Patrick, and Jami; grandchildren Josh, Sam, Maddie, Andrew, step grandchildren Hanna, Halie, Hope, Courtney, Justin, Cristy, Jacob, Carrie, Dexter, Wendy, and Michael; and many loved great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by stepdaughter, Mandi (Amanda Laubach).

A memorial service will be held 11am Saturday, April 2, 2016 at St. Emeric Hungarian Catholic Church, 1860 West 22nd St., Cleveland, OH 44113.
